Sleep deprivation
Finally we convinced mom to take a sleeping pill. For those who raised kids: sleep deprivation when baby cries is manageable when:
- you are 20something or 30something
- sooner or later the baby will be a silent toddler
Yet moms sleep deprivation could only become worse as:
- she is 70 something
- the metastatic liver cancer will only get worse
So it’s me and bro looking after father this night, me first so when tomorrow no update, it’s because I am sleeping and mom has made finally good use from us 
Father is asleep already and the saliva sounds are not really saliva, but deeper in the lungs (we wouldn’t be surprised that the primary cancer is a lung cancer), so nothing can be done about that. Yet the sound is so alarming you wake up from it: and that must have been every second for mom. I will find out soonest enough.
