But all is ok now! Just a few stitches and further on we got away with a big bang and being kind of worried to say the least.
So what’s happening? Mom is surely getting better and better after the death of her hubby due to metastatic liver cancer 3 months ago. But yesterday her brother in law was buried after passing away with kidney cancer.
That triggered "father’s liver movie" in front of our eyes. Seems also in front of mother’s eyes. Oldest brother and her wife stayed over for the night as they had the impression mom was suddenly not doing so well.
They told mom to take a sleeping pill…
Mom managed to go down the stairs and then a big bang: fell down and cut her scull open at the side of the door. A GP doctor was quickly available to stitch everything up. Since my brother was there, that saved her the trouble to go to the hospital and to be in observation.
Mom is awake now, having a little headache but feeling fine she say 🙂
