Life after death

I had a call today with mom, and the pain in her shoulder is still there: at days she feels better overall, she feels less pain, but at moments where there is more grief, there is also more pain in her shoulder.

She is still not sure whether she will go to hospital to have her operation or not. One thing that makes her delay more is that the surgeon on call is on summer holidays…

Further on our niece is staying at moms house and so far they are all in "polite stage": checking each other out and our niece also is looking around for other opportunities and places to stay.

Luckily it’s summer in Europe, so depressions are less… Sounds silly but winter is a gray period in Europe: both when it comes to the sky and when it comes to emotions…
