The doctor gave him 2 days to 2 weeks to live. He died on Feb. 16th, 2007. The cancer had spread and was inoperable. Nothing prepared my family for the shock of his death and we are still trying to deal with it. The ironic thing is my father was scheduled for a colonoscopy the day after we took him to the ER. The stuff he was supposed to drink for the colonoscopy made him ill, which is why we went to the ER where we found out why. People say it gets easier, but for my family, it hasn't yet.
