Edwards campaigning for cancer?

You wish!

So your wife has cancer Mr. Edwards, what is the big deal?

  • my father died of liver cancer,
  • my left neighbour has ovarian cancer,
  • my 2 houses left neighbour died of bone cancer
  • my 2 houses to the right neighbour just died from lung cancer
  • 1 month after father dies of cancer, one of his traveling buddies died of cancer (hush, hush nobody told us what cancer he had, and does it really matter?)
  • my best male friend died of lung cancer
  • my best female friend has touch wood survived breast cancer

The only difference is that you shout cancer out Mr. Edwards. You shouted out that your wife has cancer, and for that I applaud you! At least today cancer has made the headlines again thanks to Mrs. Edwards having metastatic breast cancer.

Now please use this news in the fight for cancer cures and cancer prevention

JD Edwards: Campaigning for cancer please!

Please Mr. Edwards, show some non prostate cancerous healthy balls and campaign for cancer!

Who better than you and your wife to know what the burden is of cancer?

Or is it that the 3rd strongest democratic candidate cannot afford to loose any medical lobbying (of course we all know no politician gets an official pay-cheque from the medicine industry and drug industry).

Please Mr. Edwards, give the people having cancer and the people concerned about their health somebody fighting for them. If I understand well, Elisabeth has a metastatic breast cancer, and for those not knowing what metastatic really means:

metastatic cancer is having at least 2 cancers for the price of one…
y
ou really don’t want to hear the word metastatic when you have cancer…

You don’t need to be a John Edwards Psychic to know this is bad, bad news for Elisabeth. Yet if she can get her voice out there, she has my blessings. If she cannot get her voice out there, at least we all know that a woman wanting to do her thing cannot do it because of cancer: not poverty, not war, not aids, not terrorism…

because of cancer she cannot do what she wants to do!

Anybody campaigning for cancer please!

If not Mr. Edwards, anybody else out there in the political arena that really wants to eradicate cancer? Hello Hillary Clinton?

Or is our only concern: if and where we will go having a war in the next 4 or 8 years?

Cathy Seipp

cathy-seipp-lung-cancerYet another cancer victim too many: Cathy Seipp went on her personal visit to tell the Creator to start creating more humans that do want to make a difference when it comes to preventing and curing cancer.

Cathy Seipp

Unlike me who is just another blogger because I have been affected by cancer, Cathy Seipp reached a much bigger audience as a columnist. Our prayers are with Cathy, her family and loved ones. My Cathy’s lung cancer create more buzz to support everybody in his or her fight against cancer.

Why is cancer still around?

Ever wondered why there is so little to be found about caner prevention? Ever wondered why chemotherapy is allowed (read: poison your patient until he almost dies, since he would have died from the cancer anyway…), but stem-cell research is not allowed in order to cure cancer?

  • because cancer is big business for the drug and medicine companies,
  • because cancer brings in lots of money for the hospitals.

I just checked fathers’ hospital bill and although we took all his medicine from home, the hospital charges us a flat fee for medicine. Go and complain you say? Well: it is stated clearly in the hospital bill:

we charge this flat fee for medicine a day, even if the patient doesn’t take it…

Add to that the specialist fee; when he walks through the corridor and has a look inside a patients room, he can charge one consultancy fee…

Next time you wonder why you have cancer and why there is no cancer cure, you know…:

Cancer? it’s nothing personal, it’s just business
