How to lose weight

Mom lost 14 kg (about 30 pounds) when taking care of father having metastatic liver cancer. No need to wish your loved one gets cancer in order to lose weight please!!!

Myself I gained a few pounds after fathers’ death because I just don’t move enough anymore. Or am I really eating more than I used to?

We all know that fat has a lot of calories, but how to count the calories in my coconut rice? How to manage your diet without cracking your head on mathematics and calculations? And what about counting carbohydrates?

In order to manage my diet and life better these days, I am using the free and easy calorie counter from MyFitnessPal.com. What I like about this website is that it is free. If it works, you are good. If it doesn’t work, then there really is no loss (nor in weight, nor in money).

And this website has all you need to lose weight. First and foremost there is a forum where you can meet other people to motivate you in your weight loss program. Then there is a food diary to record your meals and you can even personalize their food database.

On top of that you can get your own free diet profile and you can subscribe to their email newsletter talking about dieting tips, recipes and fitness advice. So start eating healthy and get your personal calorie counter.

Revamp Metastatic Liver Cancer

Father has been dead now for 90 days and his website has been a mess ever since.

Mom slowly started to get rid of fathers’ old clothes, so time for me to get rid of "father’s old clothes" on this website. First and foremost a clean-up has to be done.

I am going to tackle spam first: so I added some extra comment spam filters in order to make it possible for you to comment without having to register. Even with registration we now have 3842 spam comments, so let me clean that up whilst mom cleans up fathers’ closet.

Please leave a comment:

  • to test if the comments work
  • add what you want to see on this metastatic liver cancer site in future!

Kidney cancer no more

Yesterday evening my uncle suffering from kidney cancer, a broken hip and tremendous pain passed away inside the white walls of the hospital surrounded by his loved ones.

Very sad because he had been fighting a 0 year old battle and didn’t want to die inside a hospital…

We hereby offer our deepest condolences and for those who think that cancer story is over: the story continues for the care-givers who have given all their time and energy to take care for uncle.
