Pain in the shoulder

Published by Liver Cancer under CANCER STORIES, Health, Pain

A follow up about our previous posts : Post mortal pain about Mom’s shoulder

So mom went to the hospital and the news is as usual good from a medical point of view:

  • we do an operation
  • stitch 12 times so your ligament will be properly attached
  • and after 3 to 6 months all will be back to normal…

In the mean time: mom will only have one arm to use. No big deal if only mom had 2 arms…

So mom has to live 3 to 6 months without hands… This week-end, we try to figure out how that will work. One big headache after the other.

Yes there are nicer cancer stories, but we are not in Hollywood nor get a lot of money for it…

Post mortal pain?

Mom needs to go to the hospital today to have a follow up on her painful shoulder. Now it is obvious there is a physical problem but also a psychological.

Why? Mom’s shoulder was improving until a few days ago somebody drove his car in the fence that’s around mom’s garden. Since father died from metastatic liver cancer, it’s now mom who needs to deal with all this, yet her knowledge about fences and garden repairs… all was in the hands of father.

So up goes her stress, and suddenly up goes the pain in her shoulder. Let’s see what the doctor has to say today. For sure mom has been over-using her shoulder when she took care of father’s metastatic liver cancer…

UK stair lifts

stair liftWhen father was suffering from metastatic liver cancer, he became weaker and weaker and sometimes fell down for no apparent reason. So his bedroom on the first floor became "off limits" because we never heard about affordable reconditioned stairlifts.

Reconditioned stairlifts are as reliability as a new stairlift yet much more affordable! They have been fully refurbished and tested for safety. They can be supplied and fully fitted with a minimum of 12 months parts and labour warranty for as little as £1000.

This is a very cheap option when you know that the person who will be using the stairlift will get half his house in return for the price of 1 stairlift!

Who needs stairlifts?

Anybody who has difficulties climbing the stairs or doesn’t feel comfortable anymore climbing stairs! Especially if you have a friend or family member of whom you think that he or she could fall of the stairs each time they are using it: go and inquire which stairlifts are suitable for them.

Stairlifts are categorized in:

All the above mentioned stairlifts will be installed and tested by in-house engineers. For more information call during office hours at 0800 587 0759 or read further about stairlifts.
