Request from Pammy

(read all the previous 5 posts if you don’t know about Pammy : Sad secondary liver cancer news, please give your support!)

hi pammy again,
I am quite a spiritual person but I’m not into the big man above at the moment sorry !!!!!!!,

Ann has never been a smoker or drinker as such only the odd party , her belly has been swollen now for 4 weeks her hair is very thin from the chemotherapy that has made her quite sick but she has been able to get the boys some Christmas presents and her son jack some birthday presents on her good days .

I know miracles do happen and that is more than I hope but I don’t think so this time her morphine is up to 40mg twice a day and break through tablet in between if need be also 18 other tablets through the day , I hope this next bit Is not frowned upon,

Her friends are having a benefit night on 12th Jan at acacia halls In Dartford Kent unfortunately we only have 300 tickets but they are all sold but are asking for any donation, as financial or any thing that can be auctioned or raffled to be sent to Mrs Nicola Hearn, 36 Harold Avenue, Belvedere,Kent DA17 5NL

Please give an update Pammy. I was just without words when I read your comment because father’s cancer story "played" all over again In my mind.

But I don’t have the experience of chemotherapy, so I am back and again: all my hugs for you!

Please leave an email where people can reach you Pammy!

Whoever read this: feel free to give your feedback! Sooner or later you will read something that can set your mind more at ease than It Is now…

It did give us comfort In hearing about other cancer stories!

The journey is a very though one, but one can learn that others have walked a similar journey…

Fathers’ legacy

We are happy to announce that Jane Chin made a donation in fathers’ name to a charity that uses art to help heal women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

At the beginning of father’s metastatic liver cancer, he came in tough with Colleen who also does a lot for charity and cancer. Donations are tax deductible and you can make donations online with a credit card or debit card.

Mom just sold fathers’ car… Father took care of his car like he took care of everything and everybody else: with lots of devotion and love. For mom: every time she gives, throws or sells something that belonged to father, another little piece of father dies…

And there is fathers’ legacy in this website. Now father didn’t give exact instructions of how this metastatic liver cancer site should continue, but he did say 2 things:

  • all you do is good, but do something good! (even ants did rest more than father did during his life. Father did things, he didn’t talk about things…)
  • the cancer voice has to be spread faster than cancer itself!

So join us in spreading the word, so cancer can be stopped before cancer stops us. That is fathers mission from/to God!

Cancer and Charity

Thanks to the Mybloglog Widget I noticed Jane Chin dropped by yesterday (or the day before, time flies…). Jane dropped by at the very early stage of father’s metastatic liver cancer and promised to donate 50$ for a charity of our choice.

Father never picked out which charity to donate to. It would sound obvious that father should have chosen cancer, as it is the topic of this blog. Yet I now understand : father was not metastatic liver cancer, not even cancer. Father loved to help everybody he could possibly help.

That was "quality of life" for my father. Still trying to help with the dishes when more than 20 hours of the day he was in bed… God should take the life of the not helpful people first I find…

Time to drop Jane a line and see what we can donate for. Anybody an idea which donation to give to? Leave a comment!
