I got a new hug today from Susy 🙂 Thanks! “Quality of life” in palliative care can be as simple as that, once a cancer hits you. Hugs back to all of you!
Good cancer news
The good thing about cancer is that there is an expression that says: it is spreading like cancer. And that is exactly what is happening with the incoming hugs and support from other bloggers is spreading like cancer, and I love it! Thanks to all of you.
It is good to have strong people around you with lots of fresh energy!
Energy inspires more energy,
that’s what I think. Once a fire is burning well, it is very difficult to stop it.
I wish I could give all this energy to my closest care-takers, as they are burning up because of me…When I feel good, my care-givers feel better too.
Metastatic liver cancer request
I know, I am pretty demanding to all my caregivers, especially my wife who didn’t sign up for all this and one day when she is as tired as me, I will be gone and she will still be tired…
So my request is: if you have a blog, write about my blog in yours and spread the news like fire 🙂 Cancer can only be a priority for politicians if they start hearing about it (and you know how it goes in a democracy: politicians with a sick child or partner suddenly start acting…) so spread the word about my voice so the word cancer can spread lie cancer until it reaches a person who really can make a difference for all the people that still have cancer, the care-givers and the cancer patients to be…
Metastatic liver cancer facts
Unlike Jane from A patients perspective (thanks Jane, visit her site if you want to know what my site is all about, funny but true: 2 hands can do more than 1…if we all do a bit for cancer, we can make this world a better place) or the walking moms at 3daymom (thanks Colleen), my energy-level is too low (didn’t sleep after 3 this night…) to write down all the words that are still in my mind now. So that will be for tomorrow!
