For one palliative care person to come by and sleep-over, not offering any other services: costs 30 USD.
So what happened to health care? I mean, if you need to keep the patient in a hospital because you don’t have the manpower to treat them at home, doesn’t that cost much more than $30 AND it is subsidized by the health insurance.
So why is it that the health insurance is not contributing one single cent in the cost saving option to have a sleep-over for only $30 that can be done by any person that wants to keep up at night?
